IPL 2020- MS Dhoni returns to field after 436 days, fans pay tribute to Thala

MS Dhoni announced his retirement from international cricket on 15 August 2020 on the day of India’s 74th Independence Day. He did so by posting a video on his Instagram handle which contained pictures of his worst and best moments in his era of cricket. The background song he chose was “Main Pal Do Pal ka Shayar Hoon” which is his favourite one. He captioned the video as “Thanks a lot for ur love and support throughout from 1929 hrs consider me as Retired.”

The day MS Dhoni announced his retirement his fans were emotional and wanted to see him on the field for one last time playing his last match for his country as his retirement match but due to COVID-19 situation, it could not happen.

But the Thala returns to the field after 436 days to play for Chennai Super Kings in the IPL 2020. It is a very emotional moment for his fans to see him on the field and they even paid a tribute to the cricketer.

In today’s match between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) against Mumbai Indians (Mi), all the eyes are on the Skipper MS Dhoni.
