Deepinder Goyal, the founder of Zomato, the food delivery app, tweeted that Zomato has made the download of Aarogya Setu App mandatory for all its staff and delivery-partners. The app helps to trace coronavirus cases. This step will help the customers to have confidence in the products being delivered by the company and will help the authorities to track cases as well.
Similarly, Urban Company (formerly known as Urban Clap) that connects users to various service providers like plumbers, electricians etc have mandated their service providers to download the app and show their status to the customers before working at their home. Additionally, the customers will get a declaration on the app while booking the service and even the customers will have to declare that they do not have any symptoms of the corona. Abhiraj Bhal, Co-founder of the company said that a six-step protocol has been put in place which includes taking measures like wearing masks and gloves, daily temporary checks etc.
