IPL 2020: Is the theme song ‘Aayenge Hum Wapas’ really copied? Check here

As a part IPL, Indian Premier League has released theme song of season 13 yesterday with the title ‘Ayenge Wapis Hum’ in social media. As the song was released. Krishna Kaul rapper from New Delhi popularly known as Krishna tweeted that the IPL theme song of season 13 has been plagiarized from his song ‘Dekh Kaun Aaya Waapas’.

In his tweet, he tagged IPL official account and Disney Hotstar which is an online streaming partner of IPL. “He tweeted “Hey guys, @IPL has plagiarised my song “Dekh Kaun Aaya Waapas” and created “Aayenge Hum Wapas” as this year’s anthem without credit or consent. I request my fellow artists and friends on twitter to RT this tweet for awareness, they can not get away with this. @DisneyPlusHS,”. The decision was yet to come. The theme song got 2000 likes within a couple of hours. The IPL has all set for the start from September 19. The first match is between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings. The most awaited moment for Indian cricket lovers has all set to come.
