Home minister Amit Shah will meet Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal & Dr Harsh Vardhan

The meeting will take place on 14 June 2020 at 11 am on Sunday a statement from Home minister’s office said.

Delhi’s rank is number 3rd in terms of coronavirus positive cases in India. The national capital is one of the most affected when it comes to covid 19 cases. As far as concentration of coronavirus cases is concerned, with the capital total tally closing on 40,000 cases itself.

On Friday, Delhi had reported 2137 19 positive cases in highest single-day spike so far and a total of 71 deaths in a single day due to focus infection.

As a matter of concern, Home Minister Amit Shah and Dr Harsh Vardhan will meet Delhi CM & Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal tomorrow to review National capital current condition.

On Wednesday, Arvind Kejriwal had met Amit Shah and discussed the situation of National Capital.

In his one of the recent tweet, Delhi CM Mr Kejriwal had also appealed from people for widening their heart and asked them to come forward for helping the poor using the hashtag #Delhifightscorona.

Earlier the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) too sent notices to Delhi government and centre to take a review on Delhi’s situation as covid 19 cases have been rising exponentially.

Even CM Kejriwal had himself had a scare this week when he had shown covid 19 symptoms but fortunately tested negative for same.

Director of All India Institute Of Medical Science (AIIMS), Dr Randeep Guleria, senior members of the State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA) and some other senior officers would also be present at the meeting helmed by Mr Shah.

“It is true that corona cases are increasing very fast in Delhi, yet we cannot say it has reached the stage of community spread” said Mr Satyendra Jain, Delhi Health Minister.

The National capital currently has 222 containment zone with a high concentration of covid positive cases.

Just like a healthy body, the mind should be healthy same for a healthy nation the capital should also be healthy.
